Under Falling Skies

 

Aliens attack – in underground bases you must defend your city and complete research before the alien mothership destroys your base. In the standard game you want to reach the top of the research track and can defend a city of your choice. A round comprises three phases: 1) Placing dice and move ships; ships in column with dice sink by dice value and trigger effects of slots reached. Ships below sky level damage the basis and return to the mother ship. 2) Resolve effects of rooms with dice; pay costs; rooms have value of die there + modifications; there are AA Gun rooms, Jet fighter rooms, Energy rooms and Research rooms; the excavator moved according to die value unlocks rooms. 3) Turn of mother ship comprising movement, actions at the drop points and restart of ships. When the mothership gets down to the row marked with a skull, or the basis takes maximum damage, the game is lost.

Includes scenarios for a four chapter campaign mode.
