Bettler und Diebe
Trick-taking card game, featuring rules for RAMSCH for 2 players, for HALSABSCHNEIDER for 3 players, and for BETTLER & DIEBE for 4-5 players. There are Thieves cards of values 1-14 for trump, and Beggar cards in red, blue and green, each set of values 1-8. Number and combinations of cards vary according to the version. Thieves cards 5-14 and Beggar cards 5-8 carry a second value next to the value of the card in play; this value is the scoring value of the card at the end of the round. A trick is taken by the highest Thieves card or the highest Beggar card in the color that was led.
