Der Zauber der Nacht

 

Magically gifted foxes use spells to rival for magical items; with spells of increasing strength you bid for objects and try to acquire collections as specified. Objects are also used for potions to earn additional points. A game comprises the phases of Twilight and Moonlight. In each round of a phase you bid with spells for tiles displayed in a grid; the spell of highest value wins a tile; all other players can donate a spell to the Forest Sprites. Tiles you win have effects; if a tile is won, meeting of one of the goal cards on display is checked; at the end of Twilight, Moonlight is prepared, including resolving of the Forest Sprites board, awarding of spell tokens, retrieving/discarding spell tokens and revealing Moonlight Goals. At the completion of Moonlight, Mirror Stones are assigned, and you score Skulls, Firebird Feathers, Mushrooms, Herbs, Mysterious Eggs, Cursed Treasure Chests, Concoction Cards, Twilight Goals, Moonlight Goals, Leftover Spell Tokens, and Unused Character abilities.
