Wunder der Welt

 

You build monuments from all over the world to erect the most magnificent city of the ancient world. In each round, you spend 7 gold; in your turn und buy and build items for most fame – roads, building tile, tower, turn order pedestal or monument, and can take out or pay back a loan. Building must be placed immediately; natural resources are treated as land spaces, and you can place items there. There are always three monument cards available; to build a monument you must meet all its requirements and spend all your remaining gold. When all players have spent their gold, a new round begins with discarding all unpurchased building tiles, setting out a new building tile, replenishing road tiles and tower and re-arranging of player markers in new turn order. If someone arrives at the purple slot of the population track, or after 10 rounds, you score population, lowest resources production, monuments, resources and city districts minus loans. An advanced version using goals and a solitaire mode are included.
