Snap Ship Tactics

Snap Ship Tactics

Board game based on the Snap Ship construction kits. Fighting the Komplex, an alien aggressor, mankind uses modular spaceships, the so-called snap ships, which can be adapted to suit any mission. You play missions to destroy an opposing ship by reducing its chassis value to 0. The control panel of a ship comprises fuselage card, parts cards, energy tokens and status indicator and shows the current ship value and possible actions. Each chassis card features a special ability. In a turn, you activate your ship and can do any number of actions that you can pay for. If a ship is activated, you resolve the chassis action including resetting evasive action, venting and movement; rotation is optional movement is mandatory. Parts action follows, including spending of energy tokens, followed by end of activation effects. Collisions, attacks, repair, evasive actions, reactions or terrain are additional elements. Movements are enacted with the ship models; from the 2nd game on you can construct your own ships and play with several ships on one side or play automated KI ships. Several scenarios are included.
