Senjutsu

 

At the time of the warring realms there is civil war in Japan; we control a samurai in allegiance to a daimyo and their clan. In your turn you control a character, draw cards from their abilities deck and play a face-down card. You can assemble your own deck for your character or use one of the pre-prepared ones.  Cards represent attack, defense, movement and mental preparation of your character. Simultaneous revealing of the cards gives the characters their abilities to direct movement, attacks and blocking. You pay for focus costs and focus effects of the card. Successful attacks wound opponents. Characters whose wound limit has been reached or topped are defeated, as they are if you have stun cards equal to or more than the hand limit allows. The last character in play wins.
