Hennen

 

You breed hens and try to form the largest possible group of orthogonally adjacent cards of the same color. In your turn you draw two cards from stack or from the discard pile of an opponent and then play a card into your barnyard of maximum 3x4 cards, adjacent to a card already in place. If the new hen has the same color as the adjacent card, it can be placed always. If it has a different color, it must be of value +1 or -1 than the adjacent card. This rule applies to all cards adjacent to the new card. If you cannot or want not to play a hen, you place it face-down. Then you place one card on your discard pile. After six rounds, you place your rooster token on a card. After 12 rounds you score the eggs on the largest groups of one color and the eggs on the group with the rooster token, provided this is not the largest group in the yard, medals and completed goals and deduct one point for face-down cards.
