Bardwood Grove

 

In the universe of Five Realms, Bardwood Grove in the Halfling Realm is the center for bards; we are new arrivals there and want to make a name for us. Each Bard has his own style including instruments and cards, learns new abilities, tells stories, performs and calms creatures endangering the realm. A turn comprises the phases composition, song and downtime. For Composition you add a skill card to your song and discard a second one for tempos, volume and an eventual bonus and move bard and/or boat in relation to the tempo wheel. In the Song phase you can activate adjacent location, challenge other bards for badges, use opposing badges for benefits and interact with events. In the Downtime phase you discard fan cards and profit from benefits, place improvements to your song and place creatures into the boasting area. Some locations give you gems. If someone takes the last green gem, all others have a final turn, and then gems and legend cards are scored.

Comes with five tuckboxes that can be unlocked to add more components to the game.
