Schnitzeljagd
Five food tokens are necessary to win the hunt. You use a set of animal cards – 1-Bear, 2-Wolf, 3-Lynx, 4-Owl and 5-Mouse – and start a round of one to three hunts. A hunt comprises three steps: Select animal, call animal and end of hunt. Select animal – you set down an animal from your hand, face-down. Call animal – you call an animal ö who played this animal must reveal it. If the animal was played only once, its owner calls an animal of a higher number. Whoever played this animal, reveals it – it has been eaten and the player is out of play for the round. If two or more animals were played, nothing happens, the card remains open. You call animals until all played cards are revealed. If then there is only one survivor or after the third hunt, the round ends and food tokens are handed out.
Card game for 2-5 players, ages 8+
