Ein Fest für Odin Die Norweger

 

A board game inspired by a saga that mirrors the life of Vikings. Normally, in a round, you place your Vikings on slots of the action board, only one Viking per slot. A round comprises 12 phases, aim of the game is to cover the slots of your own home board with green and blue commodities tiles, gaps can be filled with gold and silver. Commodities are acquired by plundering or by swapping for other goods. After six or seven rounds you score for ships, houses, exploration boards and goods and must have be occupying certain slots on home and exploration board to avoid penalty points.

The expansion features a modular board, in three parts and with action slots adapted to the number of players plus a new 5^th column for the last action of a round. There are also four new discovery boards, horses and pigs as new types of animals and a personal workshop that you can build in the course of the game, plus special tokens for forge products and new commodities tokens and also new action options, for instance theft.
