Pirate Tales
Pirate captains on adventure journeys, all other captains bet on the outcome of those journeys. A journey comprises Preparing for Adventure – optional buying of adventure cards, placing cards according to rules on the adventure track, eventually playing kraken card as well as bets of other players and turning up of kraken card; followed by Resolving Adventure – Roll dice and meet challenges by placing dice to earn bonuses; if all cards are met, you acquire the reward and move your ship. Then Bets are resolved – wins are paid out, debts are paid, and lucky coins are kept. Finally, you do Upkeep by upgrading dice and reducing dice to seven for the next round. When the game end condition is achieved, you score gold and gems.
