Birth or Burst

 

Penguin eggs need to hatch, but they need controlled temperature, which is governed by number action cards; you select one of your cards and reveal their choice simultaneously. Card values are summed and the egg card moved on the track accordingly. In turns 1-9 you also reveal a command card; the turn leader must adhere to it, or the egg bursts and the leader loses one life. Furthermore, players need to play at least two cards of values -6, +6, 7 or +7, one of the cards must be -7 or +7, over the ten turns. When, after 10 turns, the egg is not burst, it has successfully hatched. But if the egg card moves out of the safe temperature range, the egg bursts and you lose a life, if you played the highest action card. You also hold a secret mission card: In turn #10, no command card is played and you try to get the egg into the range of your own mission card, for a bonus if you succeed. The game ends if one player is down to 0 lives.
