Bubble Trouble
Coral reef and shark ditch are laid out as stated, any five ocean animals are placed between them. Any ten blubber bubbles are distributed among players, minimum two per player. Then all through their bubbles at the animals simultaneously – animals touched by a bubble move one step towards the reef, all others one step towards the shark ditch; for a step, the animal is rotated or tilted by 180 degrees. If it touches the reef, it is safe and set aside, if it touches the ditch it is out of play. After moving the animals, the bubbles are redistributed for the next round. When all animals are out of the play area, the group success is assessed by the number of safe animals. In a variant only those animals move towards the reef that are touched by a bubble showing their image.
