A Battle throuth History

An adventure with Sabaton

 

Aas a time-travelling narrator in the guise of one character from the Heavy Metal Band Sabaton you travel through historic epochs and encounter battles at the side of legendary troops and heroes. You can confront history – represented by cards on the board – or challenge other players. You use troops of all kinds that you have conquered on your journey through the epochs. Knowledge is increased by collecting valuable relics for points. A game turn is resolved by all players, comprising three phases: 1) Time travel with activating the Gears of History, prepare battle and time jump; 2) Battle, either conquering units on the board or, as attacker, challenge another player; and 3) Restoration with receiving reward for phase 2, removing units from attacker boards to the discard pile, discarding warfare tokens, returning link counters and dice to supply, and replenishing board. After six or eight rounds you score for elite units, heroes, relics, bravery medals and honor of the arms tokens.
