Catan Kartenspiel PC Version
The 2-player version of Catan as a card game – the dice roll at the start of the round goes for both players; one die rules chance, the other resources. Cards in hand give you actions or expansions for your settlement. You need 12 victory points to win, acquired by settlement construction, upgrading of settlement to city and expansion of cities with library, town hall or bath house. Theme set expansions are available. The PC version for Windows offers a tutorial by Professor Easy, eight strategy versions and three levels as difficulties in offline play and also the option to play online in tournament mode. You assemble your own deck from the theme sets „Handel & Wandel“, „Ritter & Händler“, „Wissenschaft & Fortschritt“, Politik & Intrige“ and „Zauberer & Drachen“ The game features 10 new tournament cards for use with the analogue table card game.
