Age of Steam: USA & Europe

 

Maps for the Age of Steam system, the basic rules of Age of Steam apply.

On both maps, countries are used instead of hexes, and circles instead of track and connections. In both versions, you build up to three discs in the building phase, at the border of two countries / states.

USA: Newly built administration in each state is done with a new city tile, which need not be adjacent to CS or already built tiles; the state must have room for the new tile. In stats with an airport symbol you need +1 locomotive and earn +1 income if you can spend the necessary locomotives.

Europe: Only the losers of an auction build on the big circles in countries. You can build administration in each country but Switzerland, Albania, Denmark or the Baltic states, Sicily and Scotland are individual countries. Movement across big circles or administration costs +1 locomotive.
