1911 Amundsen vs. Scott
Race for the South Pole, each player takes his own track to the pole; three cards are on display and in your turn you can 1. take cards on display, first one for free, up to two more cards for discarding the same number of cards. 2. Play cards from your hand to obstruct your opponent or to activate special effects. If nobody reaches the pole before the deck has been used up twice, the game is lost for both players. This first edition comes with three expansions: 1. Patrons: four cards each for Scott and Amundsen for special effects 2. 1912 The Way Back: A board and ten cards for new rules to get back to the ships 3. Damned Weather!: Five new cards and a die
