SNCF: Iberia
In the core game SNCF, you build railroads in France, each town connected enhances the value of a company. Players try to own as many shares as possible from successful companies. You select one of two actions: Build track = place 1-5 engines and score newly placed ones, or Swap = discard one of your engines and take one or two of another color. When the game-end condition is reached, you score for engines behind your screen minus 20 points for surplus ones. For SNCF Iberia, the rules of the core game apply, modified by: Place one cube of each color into the six Madrid suburbs, one per Hex; you need one turn to cross an International border, no building into Madrid. Game ends with railroad built into Lisboa or five empty railroad boxes. Scoring is in VPS, 5 bonus points for crossing an international border.
In the box together with Age of Steam Great Britain , SNCF Germany, Wabash Cannonball Nickel Plate, as well as Robber Barons, Technology Level 7 and Norfolk & Western RR für Baltimore & Ohio
Placement game with a railway topic for 3-6 players, ages 10+
