SNCF: Germany
In the core game SNCF, you build railroads in France, each town connected enhances the value of a company. Players try to own as many shares as possible from successful companies. You select one of two actions: Build track = place 1-5 engines and score newly placed ones, or Swap = discard one of your engines and take one or two of another color. When the game-end condition is reached, you score for engines behind your screen minus 20 points for surplus ones. For SNCF Germany the rules of the core game apply; there are no start hexes, and in addition either track building or stock trading you can decide to begin a new railroad and you must do this in your first turn.
In the box together with Age of Steam Great Britain, SNCF Iberia, Wabash Cannonball Nickel Plate, as well as Robber Barons, Technology Level 7 and Norfolk & Western RR für Baltimore & Ohio
