Koruru
Koruru, also known as Knuckle-Bones, is a game of dexterity, already played in ancient times with stones or animal bones. This is the Maori version. Basically, you take all pieces in one hand, throw them into the air and try to catch as many as you can with the back of your hand. Then you throw the caught pieces up again and try to catch at least one of them with your palm. This is the „Taw“ stone; if you caught more than one piece, select one for Taw. The Taw is then used for several variants.
Dexterity game for 1 or more players, ages 5+
