Strife Legacy of the Eternals
A game with perfect information; each player has the same ten cards. In three rounds, players compete for most victory points. Each champion has a battle power for battles and a legacy power for use when he is on top of the legacy pile. Ties are resolved with the Fatestone; if you own it, you lose all ties, but you can give it to your opponent to win a tie at the cost of enhancing the value of the stone by one. At the end of the game, the owner of the stone scores its value as additional victory points. Phases of a round: 1. Select champion for the current location, reveal it and resolve triggered effects. 2. Battle - the stronger champion activates and resolves his battle power first, then the weaker one. 3. Legacy - the top champion in the legacy pile of each player is activated and resolved in order of power value. 4. Combat - Powers of champions in phase 2, terrain bonuses and other effects are added, the higher value wins effects and/or victory points from the current location. 5. Clean up and refreshing locations. 6. Replenish - if you have no cards in hand, you take up all set-aside cards. Pre-release version
