Based on Lord of the Rings by J.R.R.Tolkien; you play either a „Character Game“ without using army or battles, or the „Campaign Game“ including military aspects of Middle Earth with rules for additional individual characters and events. At the start of a round you roll dice for control over Gollum; then players draw event cards, the dark player receives Shadow points and does Search; then the Fellowship player moves his forces and eventual individual combat is resolved, followed by the same turn for the Dark forces, including Citadel reduction-
