In the Cthulhu Universe you try, to collect sets of identical or all different location cards to either open portals or publish research. Portal cards are set down, and you spread the mix of open and face-down location card in an overlapping row. In your turn, you draw 1-3 location cards from the right end of the row or open a portal by discarding 1-3 sets of 3 or more identical location cards and take the corresponding portal card or publish research by displaying 1-3 rows of 7 different cards each, thereby giving a madness token to all other players. If anyone has got 10 madness markers, you win with fewest markers.
