Railroad Barons – Barone der Eisenbahn
A railway game based on the 18xx games by Francis Tresham, this version is for 2 players: 5 companies can be founded in the stock rounds: they run railroads, pay dividends or save. Each has a fixed income, the companies always act in the same order. Players first select four of five Privateers, one player chooses, the other decides whether he wants the money or the privateer himself + special ability. One stock round is always followed by two operation rounds, in the stock rounds you can buy or sell shares or pass. In the operating round you relocate markers within a company, either for railroads you can buy or own or for improving the track. Then income is determined and either dividends paid or money saved.
