TROIA / DIE
GROSSE MAUER Both new
scenarios come with ready made boards and can be played by four and by six
players. DIE GROSSE
MAUER – China in the times of the great attacks from the north against which the
Great Wall was built. Each player has is usual settler work and in addition to
that responsibility for a stretch of the wall, which must be high and strong
enough to fend off attackers. The more settlements and cities are founded, the
stronger the Mongols get. If they manage to overrun a section of the wall, all
neighbouring land hexes are barren, the players receive minus points. Only a
knight can render assistance and free 2 land hexes from the Mongols. The game
is won with 10 victory points. TROIA –
Troia is rapidly ascending and in direct rivalry with the Greek city Mykene. Players are
neighbours of Troia and Mykene and are allocated one of the cities as partner.
Besides his normal settler business a player can also donate resources to one
of the cities, Troia needs wool and ore, Mykene values wood and grain. Those
donations earn trade points to enlare the trade fleet, but also advantages for
one city in their fights. Victory points from these fights do also count as
victory points for the affiliated players. The game is won with 15 victory
points, if a city reaches 6 on her victory scale, the game ends and the player
with the most victory points wins. Historc
