SKYRUNNER

 

Main feature of this game is the skyscraper, a lovely triangular building, built in three stages up to a total height of 58 cms and set into a park- and street landscape complete with shrubs, trees, sidewalks and stairs up to the skyscraper entrance. Players try to be first on the roof by using their action cards, all climb on the same side of the building, difficulty can be varied by combining the three parts to the players liking. In each turn an action card is turned face up from the stack and players can no decide if they want to bid for it by playing one of their number-cards face down, highest bid wins the card, equal bids cancel out each other. If a player does not want to bid, he can instead play an action card from his hand to advance his own climber or to hinder another.
