Up the ladder in the coop, higher than the others. 7 number cards are placed along the ladder cards, the first one shows the Flutter number of the round. The track chickens sit at the track starts, the ladder hens at the starting position on the ladder. You roll five times and set aside a die after each roll, either for a feather or placing the dice on the track according to the rules or discarding it to the compost heap. If the flutter number was not topped after five rolls, you place your track chicken next to the furthest die on the track. Feathers are used to reduce higher values; if you cannot or want not use feathers, you move the ladder hen backwards accordingly. At the end of the round, you advance your ladder hen, if your track chick is higher up than the lowest one; track chickens in last place receive 2 feathers. Then the flutter number card expands the ladder and the next card shows the next flutter number.
