As a Mafia Godmother in Beasty Town you want to expand the influence of your clan. 36 location tiles shop 9 types of shops, which are distributed on the territories used according to player numbers. In turn, players fence in starting territories and place rats. If five rounds you place minions; a minion has two actions – options are bribe a rat, garner booty, set up back room and claim territories. Minions placed outside your own territory can bribe rats and claim territory, but you must pay with booty markers. The Godmother with special abilities acts according to the intrigue card you selected at the start of the game. When all pawns are placed, you can, at the end of the round, score a completed mission if you have the majority there alone. After five rounds, you score placed mission tiles, chains of shops and trophies from opponents’ back rooms.
