Long worms score points, but worms that are too long cost points. Worm ends in three colors begin one row each, and you hold five worm cards, showing either values between 1 and 7, or an action. In your turn, you place a worm card, head up, at the end of the corresponding color row; if there is a head already there, it is turned over to the body side; the now visible points are summed for the worm value; if is below 10, the turn passes to the next player; if the total is 10, 11 or 12, the worm has optimum length and you take the card for the plus side of your points board; if the value is higher than 12, the worn is too long, and the card goes to the negative side of your points board. In both cases, any remaining open worm body cards are removed from the worm. Before playing a worm card, you can play any number of action cards. If someone cannot replenish their hand to five cards, you win with the highest total from plus cards minus negative cards on your board.
