All place the worm head of their choice and receive three cards in hand; six cards are laid out face-down. IN turn, all put a card from their hand face-down into the middle, take another card from the display, put it openly at the end of their worm and draw a card. The new card is always placed next to the stick, depicted on the card in varying positions. When the draw pile is empty, all have three turns without drawing a card. When all have placed their 9^th card, you win with the longest worm.
