Monopoly set into the world of the super-rich - we buy the most expensive streets world-wide and build, besides houses and hotels, sky scrapers and luxury malls. The playing pieces are gilt in this luxury edition, but are standard pieces - car, ship, doc, hat, iron, show, wheelbarrow and thimble. The board has an additional street for each of the colors, four per color with the exception of dark blue and brown which now feature three streets each. Those streets are supplemented by lots for prestige items like sports car or private jet. All those lots are bought when first entered or you have them auctioned by the bank player if you do not want to buy. You always roll the speed die and gain advantages when the speed die shows Mr. Monopoly or the shuttle bus. If you roll a double with the white dice you may roll again for an additional turn, but if your roll a third consecutive double you go to jail. Instead of rolling again for a double you can use a shuttle ticket. Houses and hotels can be built when you own three streets in a color group, for a sky scraper you need all four streets. On prestige object lots you can build luxury malls which double the rent. Other additional lots are birthday gift, shuttle ticket or auction and a gas power station. The rules suggest a variant in which you choose a time limit at the start of the game and the winner will be whoever is the richest player at the end of this time period.

Monopoly as we know it and love it, special are only the lots featuring streets from all over the world, the gilt playing pieces and the buildings in luxurious bronze and silver hues.
