Booray originates from Louisiana and is now widely known, it is a trick-taking game with elements from Poker. Aim of the game is to be the first to win 400 Booray-$ or to bankrupt all others. You place 1 $ into the pot and are dealt 5 face-down cards, the top card from the stack is turned up for trump. Then you decide if you want to pass or play in this round. If you pass, you return the cards. If you play, you can swap cards with the stack. Then the starting players leads a card, you must follow suit or use trump. If you take the most tricks, you win the pot. In case of a tie the pot remains for the next round. If you take no trick at all you must put the value of the last pot into the pot. If you go bankrupt you place your remaining money into the pot.
