Elphi

Topic is the building of Elbphilharmonie, players represent Principal, Architect, Construction company and Public, in a game for three players you leave out the Architect. One player is customer of the round, selects a card from hand and reads it out. The others assess the consequences of the card for the role of the customer and place 1-5 building blocks accordingly on the assessment board. Then the consequences are announced - wrongly placed blocks are taken back, correct ones are built, block adjacent to block. If you manage to build six blocks in one round, next to each other in a rectangle, or 3 on top of 3, you have constructed a concert hall and can place three more blocks. Special cards feature bribes, terror, terror insurance and ship collision and influence the course of the game. Discussion cards can be used to change the consequences of a card. At the end of the game you win with most visible sides of blocks.
