Othello

One of the classics in the range of 2-player games, Othello, is published in a new edition at Piatnik. 64 double-faced pieces are black on one side and white on the other. Each player is assigned one color and, in turn,  places one piece of his color on the board, always adjacent to an opponent’s piece and in a way that you enclose one or more an opposing pieces between the newly placed piece and another piece of your color; the enclosed pieces are then turned over to your color. If you cannot place a piece in that way you must pass your turn. When nobody can place a piece you win if you have more pieces of your color on the board.
