Castle Crush!

with Cubes & Cards

In the placement and building game Castle Crush! you build castles and then attack castles of your opponents. Each of the three rounds has three phases: 1) Building - you take pieces according to the template and place them in correct alignment and orientation on the basis; each piece scores basic value x level. Then you place the King anywhere in the castle, the General upright, only on the basement. 2) Two attacks - you place the hammer on its base and let if fall - without pushing - into any direction and score basic value + character value for pieces that touch the table. 3) Cleanup - When King and General do not touch the table they both score points and all pieces not on the basis go back into stock.

In the Building Game version you only build to achieve a given score using a set of given pieces and the king and general markers. In the Quick Game you only score points for attacks.

The expansion Cubes & Cards introduces new challenges: Family members - each color is a kingdom and comes with two family members with two abilities that are used in different phases of the game; Mini buildings - Goal and Fortress; Building blocks showing crowns, jewels and curses. The abilities of those additions all relate to building, attack and scoring; the castle is no longer scored in the building phase, only in the scoring phase, and there is a new phase allocation: A player with fewer than three blocks receives blocks.

Marvelous wooden pieces that provide lots of fun constructing a possibly high-score castle and the attacks are fun, too – just drop the „hammer“, vertical bowling in a way – high quality, well-made and high replay value.
