Twixt
You use a board size 24x24, the corners have no holes. There are red and grey towers and red and grey wall pieces. The outer rows of holes are separated from the rest of the board by red or grey border lines. Players alternate to place a tower in any free hole, but not behind the border lines of the opponent. When after placing a tower, there are towers of your color in knight’s move distance, you can connect them with a wall. Walls cannot cross each other. If a player manages to connect opposite sides of the board in an unbroken line of towers and walls, he wins. If nobody manages that, the game ends in a tie.
