Das Ligretto Fußballspiel

First adapted for Soccer in 2008 the game has been given new rules for Euro 2012, again a Soccer Match is played based on the Ligretto rules. Five Field Cards showing numbers between 2 and 25 are laid out and each team tries to make its way from its own stack of Goal Cards to the opposing goal. To do so they place cards from their stacks underneath the Field Cards to make up the  value of each Field Card. The cards must be completed from left to right. If you reach the Goal, you turn over the card, shuffle your hand cards and try to lay out the Goal scene depicted on the card. If you manage that first you have achieved a Goal. All players’ stacks are shuffled and new fields cards laid out for a new round. The first team to achieve five goals wins the game.
