Sunda to Sahul
50 000 years ago sea level in asia was lower, parts of the Indonesian Archipelago
and South East Asia formed Sunda,
New Guinea and Australia
together were Sahul. The game tracks the colonisation
of the islands between Sunda and Sahul.
Each player is an ancient spirit leading his people. There are several game
variants, basically the landscape is laid out using puzzle parts, a player to
complete a land crossroads marks it with a token, at
the end the player with the highest score from islands wins the game. In the
advanced game water rights, tribes, cooperation, challenges and raw materials
come into play.
