Less is more

Guessing terms using clues of fewest possible letters. One player is guesser and chooses a level of difficulty; all others note down clues for the current term on their board – words can be abbreviated or letters can be left out. When all are done, they count the letters in their clues and write down the number secretly. Then all reveal their number and whoever has the lowest number may show his clues first. If the term is then guessed, guesser and clue giver score; if not, the next player shows his clues, etc. If the term is not guessed at all, all clue givers score a point. When all have been guesser once, you win with most points.
