Kuhhandel Festival

Again, you trade and auction, in this festival edition only with quartets of various cows of values 10, 30, 60, 100, 150, 220, 300, 400 and 500. You try to acquire the most valuable triplets by auction or by trading. In a turn you either auction or trade. For an auction you display two of your cows and all others can offer bids, always +10 to the previous bid. If the highest bid has been made, you either take the cards yourself and pay the bidder his bid, or the winner of the auction takes the cards and pays you his bid. In both cases, the cards are placed in the respective player’s display. For a trade, you inform another player which two cows – mandatory different ones – are involved in the trade on their and your side and make a face-down bid. The challenged player can accept and hand over the cows or make a counterbid which results in the cows of the lower offer going to the higher offer. Triplets are safe, the 4^th card of such a quartet either turns into penalty points or becomes a money card. Copycat cards are jokers, and there are special rules for two players
