Old London Bridge
A fire has destroyed the wooden Thames bridge; you are a builder tasked with reconstructing it; the stone foundations allow you to erect buildings on your bridge. Chapels, bridge gates, hostelries, guild houses, haberdashers and parks are built in proper order and provide one action each – the chapel decides turn order and ties, bridge gates provide once-only abilities, the hostelries give character cards, the haberdasher coins. The Guild House enhances subsequent actions, and the park lets you build any building. Crests on buildings decide the strength of the action, and for chapel and bridge gate you move your pawn on the corresponding track. A round comprises 1) preparation by turning up of a rounds tile and rotating the rondel, 2) determining turn order by revealing a secretly selected card, and 3) Building in turn order including selecting building, building it and resolving the building’s action. After twelve rounds you score position on chapel and bridge track, and sum character cards and buildings. Special rules for two players.
