Colours of Tuscany are the basis of the game, one player plays with the colours of the roofs, the other with the colour of the stones in the piazzas. Each tile has 4 squares in the colour of the player and 2 squares in the colour of the opponent. Players try to place their tiles on the board to construct as big a connected area as possible in their own colour. The active player must take the top tile in his stack and place it in a way that at least one of the squares borders one square of a tile in his colour on the board. Each player has a veto once in the game against an opponent’s tile. If no correct placement is possible, players count the tiles in their biggest area. After two games the player with the highest score wins.
