Palio

Palio di Siena is a horse race in the heart of the old town, that is run twice a year, in July and August. It is a race of city boroughs, or contrades, 10 can race each year according to a strict selection process. The contrades have their own, colors, coats of arms and banners and the winner is the first horse that crosses the finish line with its head dress in place, be it with or without jockey.

The game simulates the race including the selection of horses, their assignment and the three laps around Piazza des Campo.
