You represent a merchant family in the 16th century, and try to trade commodities tokens and play commodities cards accordingly to accrue high profit. At the start, both ships are loaded, then each player has a turn of two phases. In Phase I you can either exchange a commodities token, buy a special card or pass. In Phase 2 you can either play commodities cards and trigger a scoring or draw two commodities cards. When the stack of commodities cards is empty, the game ends and you win with most gold coins.
