Flatiron

The Flatiron Building in Manhattan is one of the monuments in the skyline of New York; we participate in its construction. You develop your company by adding cards to your personal board; those cards allow more and better action on the neighboring streets. Completing tasks and adhering to city decrees as well as a good reputation score points. A player turn comprises the phases Moving the Pawn and Resolving an Action, plus use of any number of newspaper tiles. You move your pawn to the card stack of one of the four streets or to the City Hall. At the target location you can buy a card OR resolve effects OR take 2$. Taken cards are put beneath the top or bottom of the board, thus making the top or bottom card effect visible; maximum three cards are allowed in each of the four street columns. Resolving tasks gives victory points or money for each visible effect at the location of your pawn. When the room is built, reputation and City Hall are scored and you win with most points.
