The bookworm is searching for a successor, using cards! Each player is dealt six letter cards, the rest is set aside. Topic cards are stacked, the first one is revealed and one player selects one of the three topics. Green-colored topics are easy, orange ones medium and red ones difficult. His neighbor begins and players a letter card, naming a word that begins with the letter he played and suits the topic. If you cannot name a word, you change the topic by revealing a new topic card. If you can play your last card, you win.
