Crossing Oceans
Crossing Oceans uses topic and elements from TransAtlantic for a new game, played on of two maps of the world. You build up a fleet and make it successful, you buy ships and outs competitors from harbors; with a network of trading posts and coal stores you expand the options of your company. A turn comprises 1) either place ship or take a contract; 2) use contracts, and 3) resolve action on the rondel – Ship, Region, Coal, Cargo, House, Fleet or Blue Ribbon. When the draw pile is empty at the end of a rondel action, you play, after the end of the current round, three more rounds and then resolve four scoring steps: Change coal and contracts to money, change money into points, score points for captains and trading posts and also calculate points for flags.
