You are a robber out for valuable loot and must avoid other robbers, police and traps. You draw a card, maximum seven cards. Then you play a card - Robber, Police, Safe, Gold, Diamond, Dynamite or Bing-Bing on the discard pile OR Police, Sage, Gold, Diamond, Dynamite, Prison or Bing-Bing on your loot pile and resolve the card you played. Then you hand your cards to your neighbor. When the stack is empty you win with most cards.
