20 sound squares carry an NFC chip and yield different sounds, depending on the selected game, when placed on a smartphone featuring the free Klang² app. More than 700 sound sequences challenge and support listening memory and knowledge about music. Game modes are: Tierstimmen / Animal sounds – pair animal and sound; Komponisten der Klassik/Classic Composers – orchestra playing for correct pairs; Sprichwörter/Quotations – combine familiar sayings correctly; Länder und Hauptstädte / Countries and capitals – national anthem plays for correct combinations; Klangsalat/ Sound Chaos – pick out double sounds in the sound mix, Nursery Rhymes – children songs in English and French; Vogelstimmen/Bird songs – combine two tracks for the voice of a bird; Weihnachtslieder / Christmas songs / combine recorder melodies for a sound, Himmlische Oktaven / Heavenly scales – find two sounds of the same pitch; Die klassische Gitarre/Classical guitar and Scals trainer sort sounds of a scale by pitch.
