No risk, no fun, no points!

 

54 card to collect – showing boots, bell, milking stool, churn and brush – and 5 electricity cards are spread out as a face-down heap in the middle. You collect card and announce points for them.

In turn, both players draw a card for their hand; if the draw an electricity card, you must discard all cards and start all over again. When you have 20 cards, at the latest, you must announce points, but you can announce points any time for any number of cards of five and more cards. It is an either-or choice: You take a card or announce points. To make such an announcement you put all cards you collected in your hand open-faced on the table and name the color for which you want to announce points. In an announcement you score points for the total number of cards you set down – according to a table, from four points for five cards to 55 points for 20 cards – and also two points for each card in the color that you named. In your next turn you start to collect cards again. When only two cards are left in the middle you take all discarded cards and shuffle them for a new pile in the middle. When one player has made an announcement for each of the five colors, the game ands. Now you can score bonus points: When both players have announced points for a color, the one with the higher score for the respective color receives a bonus of 10 points and then you win with most points.

Zum Kuhkuck is probably a mild utterance when you have again drawn an electricity card against all probability; it would be nice to be able to count to five or to stop collecting earlier! Nice, fast and cute, an excellent game for two players.
